What
went well

What
we could improve
Action
points moving forward
Use of a wide range of shots to keep the audience intrigued.
Communication between our group and cast to ensure that we were all
clear on the tasks that needed doing and plan in advance.
Improved communication between the team through the use of media, this includes WhatsApp and Facebook Messenger. Ensuring that there is effective communication between our team and the cast so they are able to practise and know our expectations.
Good use of planning to ensure that we were able to film a whole
range of shots and clips of footage to ensure we had a wide range of clips to
film from.
Making sure we use all of the time available for editing. I think
this was one of my personal weaknesses
as I prioritised other subjects over my media.
Use our time effectively for the research and planning but also for the editing of our film trailer to make sure that the main codes and conventions of a romantic comedy trailer are met and also to have a good professional looking product at the end.
Whilst we were planning what to film we were able to create a script
that we kept too, to ensure that we were able to use to allow us to stay on
track for filming and for being able to meet key deadlines.
Making sure that music that is used matches the genre and tone of the film and what it represents. For example this could be current chart music and songs that have been in previous romantic comedy films.
Ensure a range of research is done into looking at what music could be used for out trailer to make the sound as good as the footage.
